New mom Ishita Dutta turns a year older today (August 26) and hubby Vatsal Sheth penned a heartfelt note wishing her this special birthday after welcoming their little munchkin Vaayu into their lives. Vatsal took to his Instagram handle to share the note with a carousel of pictures from their most special moments in life.

Vatsal penned a loving note, which read, “Happy Birthday to the love of my life! Six amazing years of marriage and now, the start of a new chapter as parents.

Your unwavering love and incredible strength continue to inspire me every day. Watching you embrace motherhood with such grace and tenderness fills my heart with immense pride. As we celebrate you today, know that you’re not just an amazing wife, but also an extraordinary mother. Here’s to the beautiful journey we’ve shared and the wonderful one that lies ahead. Happy Birthday!”

Ishita highlights the challenges of being a new mom

Ishita recently opened up to the challenges she faces being a new mom and shares how it is not easy, “I have received so many DMs, especially from new moms saying ‘Oh my god you are managing everything so well. You manage to go out and post every day on social media.’ Trust me when I say this, I cry every single day. I keep calling the doctor every time something goes a little off because I have a newborn and I am a new mom. I am as overwhelmed as you are.”

Social media is not the reality- Ishita

She further shared that social media only has a minute moment that she captures, not everything, “What you see on social media is just the moment that I captured and put it. It is not the reality 24/7, also The reason why I am stepping out is because of the support system I have at home. My parents, husband and my help at home are the reason I manage to take out those 30 mins for myself. Not every day, but sometimes. Just wanted to say that yes, the first few months are tough and overwhelming, we all go through this.”
